California Association of Senior Service Centers - CASSC

WELCOME!

          The California Association of Senior Service Centers (CASSC) is a statewide professional organization for senior center leaders. CASSC provides networking and career development for those leaders while addressing the issues of programming, personnel, administration, volunteers, and fundraising through an annual conference. CASSC also affords its members an opportunity to affect change in their local agencies and to advocate for legislative action. CASSC promotes:

• Recognition of community senior centers as an entry to the programs and services for meeting the needs of older Californians
• High standards and clear guidelines for senior service centers' methods and operation
• Professional growth and development for senior center staff
• An annual conference each fall with topics centering on real life issues which face senior center staff every day
• 
  

 CASSC works to advance the quality of standards and professional competency of senior service center directors and leaders while encouraging new partnerships with private, public, corporate, government and social service agencies which provide support services to senior citizens. CASSC serves as a statewide advocate to millions of seniors who currently use or will soon be using the programs, services and activities offered at local senior centers.

Our Mission:

To ensure that all older Californians have access to senior service programs and centers in order to serve their diverse interests and needs.
